Bookings
Valets can be booked online at www.cdtcars.co.uk or by messaging us directly. When booked online you will receive an e-mail confirmation of your booking. When booked via messaging, the date and time will be included in the message.
As we are a mobile service, we may refuse to work if your vehicle is parked on a busy road or somewhere where we cannot work safely. If you think this might apply, then please make a note of this when making the booking. We do not require a deposit payment when booking, however please take note of our booking amendment and cancellation policy.
Booking Amendment & Cancellations
Once your valet appointment has been arranged, you may change or cancel by contacting us via e-mail, phone or messaging us directly. Cancellations or amendements made within 24 hours of the appointment may be liable to a charge (50% of the valet fee).
Timings
Estimated times of arrival and completion may be provided. We make every effort to achieve these estimated times, however we cannot guarantee that the times / durations may change. We will notify you as soon as possible in the event of time / duration changes.
Cancellation due to weather
On some occasions, the weather prevents us from performing a valet (e.g. sub-zero temperatures or torrential rain). If no suitable sheltered work area is available, it may be necessary for your valet appointment to be cancelled. We will contact you as soon as possible to inform you of the cancellation and to re-schedule a more suitable appointment.
Surcharge
We reserve the right to adjust the price quotation subject to inspection of the vehicle. Excessively dirty vehicles may incur a surchrge. We will inform you if this is the case prior to the valet commencing. If you feel your vehicle may be excesively dirty when making a booking, it would be helpful if you could share additional details (e.g. photos) to ensure we quote correctly at the point of booking.
Payment
All valets are invoiced after completion to a contact name/address of your choice. Payments are not subject to VAT. A payment link is available on the invoice for easy payment via BACS. Alternatively, we accept cash, bank transfer and debit/credit card. Please note all debit/credit card payment are subject to a 2% transaction fee. The full invoice amount must be paid by the due date stated on the invoice. In the event that the invoice is not settled in full by the due date, then this may result in legal proceedings. In the event of late paymenets, then we may require that payment is made in advance of any future valets. In both cases, we reserve the right to refuse future valets of your vehicle.
Personal Belongings
Any personal belongings left in the vehicle may need to be moved whilst undertaking the valet. Every effort will be made to replace the belongings in their original location or collect them together in a bag for safe keeping. We do not accept any liability for any loss or damage to personal belonging left in the vechile whilst the vehicle is being valeted.
Child Safety Seats
It will be required that any child safety seats fitted to the vehicle are removed by the customer. If the customer has not removed the safety seats we will remove them in order to undertake the valet, however we accept no responsibility for any damage that may result from removal. We will not be able to refit safety seats under any circcumstance and it is the customers responsibility to ensure the seat has been re-installed in line with the manufacturer’s recommendations prior to the safety seat being used.
Enhancement Details
We will endevaour to improve the look and finish of your vehicle’s paint as much as is physically possible using machine polishing and paint correction techniques. Paint enhancement will improve the paint to a degree, however deept scratches, stone chips or scrapes may remain.
Photos & Social Media
We may take pictures of your vehicle for social media purposes. All identification information (e.g vehicle registration plates) will be obscured. If you do not wish us to take photos or post on social media, then please notify as at the point of booking or prior to the completion of the valet..
